WOLF CAT FEVER: A TRASH ROCK N ROLL ROMANCE
COMPLETED JANUARY 2026
A FILM BY JOSH SINBAD COLLINS & BABZOTICA
Wolf Cat Fever is an undeniable Australian original: a hyper-real, hand-built rock ‘n’ roll spectacular.
Furr Fever is the wild, fuzzed-up guitar-slinger of The Sextortions, a rockabilly band as deranged as they are irresistible. When Furr crosses paths with the howling, leather-clad Wolfy Howl, the two lost souls collide in a blaze of glitter and guitars in overdrive.
But scheming music moguls, a corrupt Trump-ish mayor and a backstabbing bandmate are all gunning to tame them. Fortunately, the ghost of The King lives in Furr’s gold guitar, and rock and roll cannot be caged.
Wolf Cat Fever oozes cheap laughs with a fast, loose, and hilarious camp aesthetic. Exploiting loads of B-Movie and theatrical tricks and illusions while forging its own aesthetic identity, Wolf Cat Fever is a visual feast filled with awe-inspiring handcrafted sets and costumes!
With Josh ‘Sinbad’ Collins and renowned costume designer Babzotica crafting every set, costume and prop from recycled and salvaged materials, Wolf Cat Fever is a must-see for aficionados of schlock and devotees of distorted guitars.
Music video DP Alexander Orlando Smith (Kylie, Iggy Pop, The Darkness) uses a retrofitted Alexa with vintage lenses to draw aesthetic inspiration from early musical comedy and Mario Bava’s lurid Italian genre cinema.
"Wolf Cat Fever is like the early films of John Waters and Peter Jackson had been hijacked by the Cramps under the watchful eye of Doris Wishman and Mario Bava”- longgoneloser

In the words of THE KING
“The story of Rock and Roll is an oft told tale. The ups, the downs, the drugs, the sounds.
The fans, the parties, and the shows, the stars shot down by their huge egos.
Bathed in sweat, tragedy, and bile, the record goes round n’ round, never out o’ style. It drives the kids with its rhythm and beat to scream in bars, and fuzz guitars.
So shake your body & move your feet because nothing roars like a rock n’ roll beat.”

Wolf Cat Fever concept
Aimed at a world wide audience of rabid rock and roll fans of all ages and nationalities, this is a film with a ready made fanatic audience.
Based on the music and legends of famed cult band The Cramps, Wolf Cat Fever draws deep from the same primordial rock and roll ooze that inspired this hugely popular band. B-movie schlock, 50s/60s Pop culture, underground sounds from geniuses such as Hazil Adkins, Link Wray and Screamin Jay Hawkins.
European comics and graphic novels eg. Kebra, Peter Pank, Arnon’s Caveman-rock series, as well Tex Avery and Hannah Barbera cartoons provided the high impact visual inspiration whilst Japanese manga and anime inspired the animalist characterisations for the band.
Zombie Zoo Productions movies use many different visual media and effects to tell the story in a crazy original way. We use drawn and stop motion animation, still imagery, musical moments and intricate models in the style of Gerry Anderson.
